Risk Disclosure
This Risk Disclosure statement is provided by Dexbit Labs ("Dexbit", "we", "our", or "us") to help you understand some of the key risks associated with using the Dexbit interface and interacting with blockchain-based protocols and digital assets.
1. No Guarantees and No Custody
Dexbit is a non-custodial interface that allows you to interact directly with public blockchain protocols. We do not hold or control your assets, and we do not execute transactions on your behalf.
There is no guarantee of profit, return, or the preservation of capital. You are solely responsible for all decisions and transactions you make when using Dexbit.
2. Market and Volatility Risk
Digital assets and on-chain strategies can be extremely volatile. Prices and yields may change rapidly and unpredictably, and the value of your positions can go down as well as up.
You may lose some or all of the value of any asset you allocate through Dexbit, and past performance of any strategy or protocol is not indicative of future results.
3. Smart Contract and Protocol Risk
Interactions through Dexbit depend on smart contracts and third-party protocols. These may contain bugs, vulnerabilities, or economic design flaws that could result in unexpected behavior or loss of funds.
Even audits or security reviews cannot eliminate all risk. You should independently assess the protocols and strategies you choose to use and understand that exploits or failures can occur without warning.
4. Liquidity and Slippage Risk
On-chain markets and strategies may rely on decentralized liquidity. In certain conditions, there may be insufficient liquidity to enter or exit positions at expected prices, which can lead to significant slippage or an inability to unwind positions.
You should carefully review potential price impact and slippage parameters before confirming any transaction.
5. Network, Operational, and Technical Risk
Dexbit and the underlying blockchain networks depend on complex software and infrastructure. Network congestion, chain reorganizations, oracle failures, or downtime in third-party services can impact your ability to submit, confirm, or cancel transactions.
You may experience delays, failed transactions, or unexpected behavior due to network or infrastructure issues, and you are responsible for any associated costs (such as gas fees).
6. Wallet and Key Management Risk
Your access to digital assets depends on the security of your wallet, private keys, seed phrases, and devices. If you lose or compromise this information, you may permanently lose access to your assets.
Dexbit does not have access to or control over your private keys and cannot recover lost keys, reverse transactions, or restore access to lost funds.
7. Regulatory and Legal Risk
The regulatory environment for digital assets and decentralized protocols continues to evolve. Changes in laws, regulations, or enforcement actions could adversely affect your ability to use Dexbit or certain protocols, or could require changes to how Dexbit operates.
You are responsible for understanding and complying with any applicable laws, regulations, and tax obligations in your jurisdiction.
8. No Investment, Legal, or Tax Advice
Information presented on Dexbit, including any metrics, descriptions, or visualizations of strategies, is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
Nothing on Dexbit should be relied upon as investment, legal, or tax advice. You should conduct your own research and consult independent professional advisors before making any decisions involving digital assets.
9. Your Responsibility
By using Dexbit, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the risks described in this Risk Disclosure, as well as any other risks that may be associated with digital assets and decentralized protocols. You agree that you are solely responsible for your use of Dexbit and for any losses or damages that may result.
